Also not fighting will only embolden the Dems and MSM further.

Wrong. This "fight" is exactly what they want and they had the stories pre-written.

If the GOP was respectful and not just promoting this inane polarity that both sides are pushing, the media would have less ammo.

The better strategy here would be to point out the absurdity of this nomination, by agreeing with it. Instead of questions, simply convey congratulations to her on being a black woman. Because being a black woman is such huge accomplishment. Agree that that is the only thing that makes her deserving of the position

What would that actually accomplish? Republicans would still get called racist by the media and the narrative then becomes that she bravely faced down a bunch of old racist white Republicans. Which is always the story but suburban white women have to be seen as socially woke so it would further turn them off to voting GOP again. The GOP actually has played this well because they are playing the "won't someone please think of the children" card. Suburban white women don't want people messing with their kids.

That won't stick with a USSC nomination

It also won't stick without major media promoting the narrative, which they won't.

And thus the major issue. It ain’t the content of the hearings but the coverage of those hearings and resultant spin.

Why? Its a 50-50 senate. As long as you keep the RINO’s in line, persuading Manchin or Sinema that she’s a bad choice is enough to sink the nomination

Exactly. Not likely to happen with the fricking RINO's, see Mitten's comments, but put enough out there how on fricked up this bitch is and it will be very difficult for Manchin to vote yes.

If they just smile and vote for her, there would be nothing to face down.

If you deny them the fight, you deny them the victory.

This is exactly what Cory Booker did yesterday. Except he was serious.

Sure, which makes it even more stupid to virtue signal.

They're going to take an L on multiple levels by fighting when they're facing a net effect of 0. Save the resources for something that matters more and/or something that they have a chance of actually winning (like the BBB stuff).

This shite makes it less likely Sinema will join with them down the road when they need her.

This nominee is already in.

No she isn't. All they have to do is not show up for the vote, and then she can't be passed through to the Senate. The Dems don't have a majority.

As opposed to Sienema being harassed by her own side because she didn’t immediately sign onto shite that fricked her state?

You give ammo to the opposition to work against you down the road.

You waste resources on a guaranteed loss.

You waste resources on a loss that's a net effect of 0.

You reduce the chances of cross-aisle support from moderates, because they don't want to be associated with the labels this virtue signaling lets the media run with.

etc

Those headlines are out of the minds of the public so they're irrelevant today.

This is more recent and has more staying power (racism is a big tool which wasn't able to be used with BBB). If the GOP taints itself enough, she won't be able to join them at all in the future.

bullshite.

If there weren't moderates, BBB would have passed.

The "there are no more moderates" is a lie the intelligentsia on both sides has promoted.

That emotional-irrational thinking is how they have seized so much power over the public the past 5-6 years.

If you are saying “We can’t compete with an enemy controlled media”, then the war is already lost completely.

Go home and fall on your sword then because there will be no hill to die on if you never bother to fight on one.

Those aren't moderates. They're pragmatic. They all would have voted for that if they had the votes.

Pretending there are moderates is how this happened. There are people who want to preserve your rights, and big government shills. There is no in between.
