Devil hand sign has thumb touching middle and ring fingers. I was in a metal band for 20 years, I remember it well

It's the "I love you" in sign language. Note, the the index finger and pinky aren't spread apart like in the picture you posted. You're as bad as the people that see the 'white power" sign everywhere.
