It's time for YouTube to lose their governmental protection as a platform.

They wouldn't last much longer after that.

They are no longer a platform.

from a certain perspective, all this shite is diabolically genius. The power that large corporations have is only growing in mostly lock step with one political party. Each hand holding the other, or more accurately, high fiving behind the public's back with a wink and a huge grin.

The left can't legally silence the opposition, but businesses can choose what to have on their platforms with no legal repercussions. Solution? Have the upper management of the corporations (that provide services that technically enhance human communication) do the dirty work for you. It is all legal, and if you agree, you can casually shrug your shoulders and refer to the rights of businesses to do business as they please.

Better yet - have conservatives defend your weaponized companies while you test the waters on “hate speech” and destroying the first amendment

I agree with Diat YouTube is magical. It's an absolutely amazing tool. I hate what they are doing with censorship

They could try but money is not the problem. It's the expertise.

I'm a pretty liberal guy, but if I were Republicans I would bring Net Neutrality back and include large platforms like google, YouTube, Twitter, Facebook, etc.

Adams published a graphic on his website with the title “Enemies of Humanity” that includes photos of genocidal dictators like Adolf Hitler and Benito Mussolini next to tech CEOs like Facebook’s Mark Zuckerberg and Twitter’s Jack Dorsey.

seriously, you compare Facebook's CEO to Adolf Hitler and don't expect to be banned? how dumb are you frickers. This would be like saying a Jewish leader is better than Adolph Hitler mailing it out to all of Germany on Nazi letterhead in 1940

Bing isn't much better. I tried to move my favorites from google over to Bing and my preferred sources often didn't update or did so very late.

Now I just use my own direct book marks and that works every time. I still browse google news and bing news to see what they are up to.

They don't think a competitor can arise, but it can, and likely will as they continue to double down.

There was NO Youtube in 2004.

There is a critical mass of conservative voices. Once there is monetary viability on another platform, a trickle will become a flood.
