Listen to Hardcore History and challenge yourself to think that God has a plan that caters to anyone.

Religion is a distraction.

quote:Religion founded by Jesus Christ is not a distraction at all. Christianity is a religion, yet it is the only way to salvation. That is, following Christ by faith and obeying what He commands.
Religion is a distraction.
Life apart from Christ is a distraction.

was contemplating this on the way to work today. God never said that we'd have it easy. But despite all the despair that may come to us, there is a peace and a comfort in recognizing that regardless of what chapter we may be on in this epic titled "The Human Race", the ending was written a long long time ago, and Christians should know the spoilers.
Christians will be the target of world because we strive through sanctification to separate ourselves from the world. Every Apostle except John died while taking the Gospel to the people so we Believers know we too shall have various trials and tribulations before we finally join the Savior in His heavenly home.

America was indeed chosen and established by Christ to proliferate the Gospel to all nations before the end comes. She is represented in the Philadelphian age of the 7 church ages in Revelation. Philadelphia was our first Capitol and the founding of America was the opening of a worldwide age of evangelism.
BTW, we are in the final age... the Laodicean. We are rich and increased with goods and have need of nothing. We are the Lukewarm generation.

Not meaning to step on any toes, but I don’t buy any of it. Not JC, not Islam, none of it.
But carry-on as you were.

The bible tells us that believers will suffer at the hands of their government before His triumphant return.
We are in the end times. We just have no idea if it will last another year or another 1000 years.

That’s a convenient amount of wiggle room

Technology is speeding that up...

That said, if you reject the God of the Bible, you reject a rational basis for all that you do trust and believe as true and you still have to borrow from the Christian worldview in order to make sense of reality. From science to logical inference to morality, you lose all bearings on reality and truth without the grounding nature God.
