Department of Navy. You can’t sue the government. Might buy time. That’s all we are really looking for is time.

A medical exemption may be possible if her doctor will play ball. You could also try for a religious exemption. If she just needs to stall for time she could say that she is planning to get the vaccine but has to wait a certain amount of time for medical reasons.

Sounds like she’ll have a heart issue regardless of vaxx… so that wouldn’t be my deciding factor

Hold out until the last minute, then stress leave. Short term disability should carry her through retirement?

Does she have to work in an office? It’s such a short window of time.

How many sick days and vacation days are there between now and then?

Ask doctor for a note
Ask boss for flexibility to work from home etc.
Assume they have decent relationship and just state the case… less than 4 months, and that includes a bunch of holidays.

What vax are they mandating? There is no FDA approved vax available otherwise there would be no EUA for Pfizer BioNTech COVID-19, Monderna or J&J.

quote:

The FDA may issue an EUA when certain criteria are met, which includes that there are no adequate, approved, available alternatives. In addition, the FDA decision is based on the totality of scientific evidence available showing that the product may be effective to prevent COVID-19 during the COVID-19 pandemic and that the known and potential benefits of the product outweigh the known and potential risks of the product. All of these criteria must be met to allow for the product to be used in the treatment of patients during the COVID-19 pandemic.

quote:

All descriptive printed matter, advertising, and promotional material relating to the use of the Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 Vaccine clearly and conspicuously shall state that: • This product has not been approved or licensed by FDA, but has been authorized for emergency use by FDA, under an EUA to prevent Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) for use in individuals 12 years of age and older; and • The emergency use of this product is only authorized fo

People can argue all they want, but the text is clear. There is no COMIRNATY available. Don't be a sheep, take the EUA for Pfizer vax to a lawyer and highlight these areas. This will lead to class-action lawsuits.

Exactly how many people with heart issues have been tested? What types of issues did they have? How long have they been tested?

Phase I human trials did not start until July of last year and lasted for only 2 months (normally it's a full year and that's after a full year of animal testing, animal testing started in February 2020). Normal FDA testing time is around 10 years before approval for widespread use (or even Phase IV) yet this was being injected into millions by the time these vaccinations had existed for only 1 year.

Saying it's fine for people with heart conditions, at this point, is more hope than actual science as only a handful of people (those few hundred in Phase 1) have had the injections for a full year yet.
