Get to know Biden’s new Press Secretary

She’s a great study and example of how the swamp in DC works, how lifelong politicians are made, and how consultants and TV personalities get their start and make their money.
At 26, Psaki became deputy press secretary for John Kerry's 2004 presidential campaign. From 2005 to 2006, Psaki served as communications director to U.S. Representative Joseph Crowley and regional press secretary for the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee.
Throughout the 2008 presidential campaign of U.S. senator Barack Obama, Psaki served as traveling press secretary. Psaki followed Obama to the White House as Deputy Press Secretary and was promoted to Deputy Communications Director on December 19, 2009.
On September 22, 2011, Psaki left this position to become senior vice president and managing director at the Washington, D.C., office of public relations firm Global Strategy Group.
In 2012, Psaki returned to political communications as press secretary for President Obama's 2012 re-election campaign.
On February 11, 2013, Psaki became spokesperson for the United States Department of State.
In 2015, she returned to the White House as communications director and stayed through the end of the Obama administration.
On February 7, 2017, Psaki began working as a political commentator on CNN.
In November 2020, Psaki left CNN and joined the Biden-Harris transition team.Later that month, Psaki was named as the White House press secretary for the Biden administration.
Psaki is married to Gregory Mecher, a deputy finance director at the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee.

How did she get the position with Kerry. That’s the question.

Why bother writing anything about her? Shallow folks already decided they don't like her because she's not a blonde woman missing her Uggs and pumpkin spice latte.

She’s got the gift of gab just like Big Dan.

This is how the swamp works.

Thanks for posting what she’s about.
I was paying attention when she was DOS. Because she was always justifying horrible policy.
She’ll get nothing but layup, Pravda pressers.
Progs victory lapping over this. You wait.

I enjoy writing about current events and politics.
She’s the press secretary to the president and people should know who she is and where she came from.
I wrote out facts in my OP. Nothing more. People can form their own opinions.

The irony, hypocrisy, and ignorance you weaved together perfectly in this sentence is impressive. Good job. I don’t expect you to own it. But you should.
Further, I didn’t make a single comment about her physical appearance nor did I make a comparison to the previous press secretary. Please take your irrelevant and baseless accusations elsewhere.

Yikes! My memory of her was that she was a snarky Karen, but kinda hot. I think my memory swapped her out with the redhead assistant to Jon Favreau in the Sopranos episode:
The brain is a strange organ sometimes.

She’s about to have the easiest job in the US: Press Secretary to a Democratic President.
