They had choices. Look at Holland and France too.

Europe feared everything would be outsourced like in most of America under Obama...
So to not outsource industry they imported the cheap labor corporations would have gone to India, Turkey, etc.
It's the greatest calamity that the world outside of despots or Communist regimes have allowed corporations to completely dictate foreign and national policy based on financial interests.
They have gotten away with murder holding countries hostage for decades...Clinton and Bush and Obama all went along with this globalization...which is just a euphenism for exporting all labor to cheap countries...or to curtail that flight by corporations...import cheap labor at an alarming rate. Regardless cheap labor controls business and immigration practices in all countries.
And that's all at the hands of about 5 massive global controlling corporations.
Trump is trying to reverse that and punishing corporations for their shakedowns of countries.

He's got the lunatic left running in circles. 54% of Ca says they are leaving the tent cities and sleeping bags behind. And high priced housing which is partially driven by people trying to get away from the trash. Wife and daughter were in Portland last week. Tons of Ca runaways have moved there. But the immigrant invaders and gangs have followed them. They said they couldn't get out and walk in the morning til city cleaned up the streets where the shat had collected overnight. It's getting worse and not better.
