I will speak only to Governor...

Burt Jones - Lieutenant Governor. Endorsed by Trump. UGA football player. Despised by the left, Biden DOJ and Fani Willis tried to use lawfare on him. Attacked the most of any Republican, from Democrats and Republicans. Democrats and Republicans, and their associated orgs, have run nonstop attack ads against him for months, painting him as corrupt; the ads have been very well done and strategic, often showing lots of older, very country accented white people saying he has ripped off hard working taxpayers and made himself rich. He has run attack ads against Rick Jackson. He says his focus is on capping property taxes and cutting taxes.

Rick Jackson - Wealthy self made billionaire. Claims to be just like Trump though he is not the Trump endorsed candidate; in his ads he often says "just like Trump, I...". Claims to be independent, a bit of a mystery. Rough childhood. Made his money off healthcare. Burt Jones has run attack ads painting him as making money off transgender surgeries and hormones, abortions, and the elderly. He has run attack ads against Burt Jones. He says his focus is on cutting taxes, cutting out the special interests, and focusing on the middle class.

Ratfricker - Secretary of State the last 8 years. Running as the real Kemp candidate. Claims to be a Christian and for Christian values. Claims to have secured elections in Georgia. He says his focus is on law and order.

Chris Carr - Attorney General. Running as the real Kemp candidate. Says he is the only candidate to have taken on Antifa, Stacey Abrams, Fani Willis, and won. He says his focus is on law and order.

You have the Trump guy (Jones), the unknown billionaire outsider (Jackson), and the Kemp underling twins (Ratfricker and Carr). I just don't know about Jackson. Part of me wonders if he is a plant sent to take out or weaken Jones. Jones I think is the one I'm leaning to because he is the one taking the most shots from Democrats and Republicans. I know the left hates Jones. He does carry some baggage, he's taken a lot of hits from all the nonstop negative ads against him. Ratfricker and Carr are nonstarters for me, Ratfricker for obvious reasons and Carr because he's Ratfricker Lite.

Agree about Jackson being an unknown and the potential danger of it. I have spoken to a few contacts around Burt’s neck of the woods and was surprised about their negative opinions. Most of it was related to his personality, though, so I guess I’m being a bit of a snowflake.

Jones money is from family wealth. He has a voting and leadership record that is strong pro family/taxpayer.

Jackson is a complete unknown with no political record. Think he is the Manchurian candidate.

Raffy is a rat. His voter integrity record is a joke. Would be a terrible guv.

Carr is disqualified after 2020 election. We had friends go to him with evidence of vote tampering/altering and he threatened our friends with prosecution if they pursued.

Yeah I’m very familiar with Jones as a player and politician. Most of our county office holders where I live in South GA are pro-Jones, and I think he has strong support in rural GA. I was kind of blown away when I called 3 unrelated people in the Jackson-Griffin-McDonough area and the first things out of their mouths were negative. One went to HS with him at Woodward, one has business relations with the dad, and another is a county official from the area.

I was considering Jackson until my mailbox started getting inundated with flyer after flyer screaming bloody murder about Jones and trashing him over anything that came to mind. Nowhere on the flyers does it say who paid for them or which political candidate they support, so I figured I'm going with Jones if he's pissing off the people who are pissing me off with their junk flyers.

Yeah I’m gonna change back to undecided instead of leaning Jackson and soak in these comments some . I want to vote for a Dawg anyways but putting the right person in an important office outweighs my red & black loyalty - which is quite strong.

It’s probably that “Georgians for Integrity” group that was running Burt Jones attack ads on TV well before Christmas….before it was even clear he was running. BTW, Georgians for Integrity is curiously headquartered in Utah.

I am pulling the lever for Jackson

Him being a multi billioniare and never having been in politics makes less risky he would be beholden to the special interest and the lobbyist

No I didn't and I also didn't vote for your hero Trump. He's an obese slob who is 80 years old and you worship him. Trump is the reason we have two liberal idiot Senators here in the first place.
