That is what the idiots like you in Connecticut once said about GE, and GE dumped their arse.
Yeah because moving a corporate HQ 160 miles is totally the same as leaving the world's busiest airport tailored to you

And he chose GE as his example.
As we all know now, that corporation is inept and incapable of making sound decisions.

Will you applaud it when Delta courts other cities to move it's hub and headquarters too?
For fricks sake, this shite again?
It's not going to happen. It's not a 50 million dollar tax break. It's somewhere in the 38 million dollar range. Even if it was in the 50 million dollar range, they've invested billions into Hartsfield Jackson and it would cost far more to move. They also have 18 years left on a 20 year contract.
This same topic has been posted ad nauseum.

Doing it in a way that makes you look like an insufferable suck up to the NRA is what I object to
And he just lost a ton of votes for doing so, and is possibly going to be investigated for it.
He has a snowflakes chance in hell of my wife, or myself, voting for him.

I wish they would move. Flying into Hartsfield fricking sucks.

Not emotion. Perceived political expendiency and it always backfires.
Why the frick are US corporations so adept at making money suddenly so obtuse to reading the tea leaves from the public?
This can't be a coincidence. People all about money are suddenly against money?

Same
Pretty shite selection of gov candidates really
I think even moderate Democrats would take 4 more years of Deal at this point

agree. the legislature does not represent the NRA. the legislature reps the constituents. so what if NRA members lose a discount??? politicians generally suck.

This is a good thing.

This is not.

Yep. Cagle being the cherry on the shite sundae.

They definitely would. Deal, as corrupt as he is, does what he can as far as the economy goes. He's not an idiot.
Cagle is an idiot.

Do you live here? If not, you can kindly shut the frick up. I'm not even a leftist. I just have common sense.
Taking away a five percent discount for a stupid convention isn't attacking anyone. NRA members aren't being banned from flying Delta. Why in the actual frick should they get a discount though?

I love how this board wants companies to be a-political about stuff, then when Delta does something to be a-political, they lose their shite.
Cagle’s proposal is big government bullshite through and through. If you support this, you lose any right to say you support small government.

My wife and I will cancel your votes out, plus my daughter and husband, aunts, uncle's and friends, well, you should probably skip the poll's.

It's pathetic.
The government has no business punishing a company for a political decision it made. That's a scary fricking proposition.

Apparently, in Georgia your business is required to follow the same political believes as the party controlling government.

So when judges become political activists to punish companies for their decisions to not cater to the whims of customers they find objectionable you feel the same?
