The jugeared idiot (I mean the all white one) Ross Perot gave us Slick Willy and his murderous crone/wife. He stays out and Bush Sr wins re-election. His full on attacks took Bush from way out in front and wrote Clinton’s material for him. In the process, he cost American lives by giving the first family of Arkansas the White House.

G.H.W. Bush said it well when he said dealing with a secular madman is better than dealing with a religious one. He knew exactly what would happen once Saddam was removed from power. This also goes for Bashar Assad is Syria. Consideer the alternative once he's gone.

Indeed, I would also say that Trump agrees with this, has acted accordingly and why he has resisted all pleas from his party and the pentagon to remove Assad while taking bold action to deter threats like his air strike on Iran's Soleimani.

Trump has a lot in common with Bush 41's foreign policy, especially the mideast.

It's the perfect middle ground between reckless warmongering interventionism and naive and foolish isolationism.

Remember Obama, Clinton, Pelosi and crew, all being outspoken about “Assad MUST go”. This was right after successfully overthrowing Gaddafi, and singing the praises of the Arab Spring.

At least Egypt was able to recover.

He was a leadership disappointment in the end. He had some moments during 911, but like many, fell into the trap of wanting to be liked/loved by the left wing media. They eat their own and will never like someone from across the aisle. He forgot that simple rule.

I miss ole W. Didn't agree with all of his policies, but he was a good man and a great leader.

You don't say - hell we'd have been better off if you or I had been elected.

problem is we didn't have a chance and neither did he.

I to this day believe he was in cahoots with his homie Arky.

Pie in the sky all you want - what he gave us was Clinton

Agree. Now he fingerpaints all day which is appropriate for him.
