He was more of a Libertarian…. Wanted freedoms with as little government as possible. He understood ALL of D.C. was a cesspool

That was from March 2004 ahead of Lurch Heinz trying to unseat Bush that fall. The next episode with Maher he banters the ills of our country with the Dixie Chicks..
The rigged election he's speaking of had Broward County and hanging chads involved.
Al Gore was cheated in his view.

He was a comedian... thats it.. nothing he ever said was profound or new. "you aint in the club"... guy ranks up there with Plato and Marcus Aurelius.
