I know a gay (male) couple that live near me. They paid a Columbian woman to have a kid for each of them. The kids are biologically theirs. I've been around them several times. They seem perfectly happy. The kids are 4 and 5. They are constantly doing activities with them. Outdoor things mostly. The younger partner, he's very Outdoor-sy. A big hunter and fisherman (you'd never guess this dude was gay). Their social media is filled with them just doing fun things. I would normally have frowned on a situation like that, but, there's no crazy female in the picture. I imagine there's a lot of stability in that household. The younger guy, he's an independent roofing contractor and the older partner is an insurance agent. I'm sure they're not hurting for money. They both seem so grounded. I know gay people get bashed on here a lot, but there's no way I could bash that situation. And the kids seem so delightful and happy.

Things are about to take a step backwards I believe, insofar as traditional gender roles go within the next decade.
Why do I say this? Well, I believe I read somewhere that by 2030 AI will cut into about 30% of the US labor force, eliminating a good bit of secretary positions, HR and other menial jobs like data entry or jobs skewed towards women.

Gen Z is very based. Talked to my nephew the other week and without prodding from me he started talking about them, his level of noticing was off the charts.

Filipino girls have a nice blend of exotic with more European features. And generally believe in traditional gender roles and family structure. Downright adamant about it.
I have a buddy around 60 years old who is married to a thirty year old former model from Croatia. Sexiest accent I've ever heard. Eastern European and Italian at the same time. Needless to say he's loaded.

The constant lecturing on race, the reading lists full of anti-white, anti- American, holocaust, and making heroes or refugees will and did create a backlash.
They know, either outright or intuitively, that they are being indoctrinated. It is so over tge top these days. I was shocked, cause we live in a good conservative county.

I'm a Trump-loving, conservative voting Republican. But, I know plenty of decent gay people. If that makes me a SJW, so be it. My uncle is gay and he freaking loves Trump.

Not necessarily. According to PEW, Clinton took 54% of women voters in 2016 and Trump got 39. In 2024, Harris took 53% (statistically same) of women voters while Trump rose to 46%. The changes in those years were how white and hispanic women voted.
In 2016, white women voted for Trump by a margin of 47 to 45%. In 2024, Trump got their vote 51 to 47%. Trump picked up 4% in that category. Hispanic women were a big pick up for Trump in 2024. In 2020, Hispanic women went 65 to 39% for Biden. Those women went 52 to 46% for Harris, meaning Trump swung 7% in that category.
I think many suburban and rural moms went big into the anti-trans propaganda and liked the MAHA approach that Trump leaned into.
It's not perfect, but I think we are trending correctly.

Seems like they just wanted out of miserable places they are from. I mean one is from Ukraine - when you aren't fighting to survive, I can see her point.
