Gas tax thread

What are we doing with the taxes that we pay now?

Coastal Restoration...We are dumping our tax money into the Gulf of Mexico.

Repubs rolled over for every tax increase in the first term. Why should we expect anything different?

I agree they are just republican by name.

Watch the Miss Bridge tax and a huge gas tax being shoved down our throats.

Watch another sales tax being shoved down your throat and the fake republicans will line up to pass it for early childhood education.

Luckily I am leaving the five parish area where the Miss Bridge tax will be forced upon people while nothing will happen in their lifetime.

If you think liberals are pushing for increased sales taxes, the most regressive of all taxes, you are misinformed. Jindal left the state in the red. To recover, funds needed to be raised. The only tax increase republicans would support is sales tax, because it affects lower income brackets far more than high income brackets.

Gas tax, pump tax, additives tax, windshield cleaner tax, car wash tax.... think of the possibilities.
