"We know that in 2020, the overseas votes delivered the election win for President Biden in Georgia and in Arizona, and without that, the election would not have potentially gone the way it did. So we were the margin of victory," Kristin Wolfe [ chair of the Democrats Abroad U.K.]
We know that she is claiming that in an effort to gin up votes. Not saying that the Republican don't need to do the exact same thing, BUT... I very seriously doubt that that is a true statement. Most especially since generally, are not most overseas ballots from the military and tend to skew right, not left?

Because overseas ballots generally don't come in in enough numbers to actually make a difference. Most all states accept overseas ballots that come in for a few days after the election, don't they? They are immaterial to the outcome of the election, in most cases.
Yes people in this thread are freaking out over something that has been the same for decades.
And people saying stuff like “Florida is huge and it has 100% of its votes counted by 10:00pm on election night” are incorrect. Florida will have overseas ballots coming in after election day and by law they will be counted.

Certainly, you might be right. What frustrates me-and makes me suspicious-is how difficult it is to find the actual overseas votes for the candidates. For instance, I remember seeing an article saying something along the lines of "75% of Maricopa's overseas votes went to Biden. This unsurprising given how unpopular Trump is with active military."
That seemed like such a preposterous statement (active military for Biden), that I wanted to find actual numbers.

I don’t think that’s knew. I think that has been going on for a long time. It just has to be postmarked by the day of the election
