Do people trained in Public Health not get education in communication?

My view is that the easiest way to rebut them is through very close adherence to immunology and biology itself. The cross-section of people with the required knowledge and the training in rhetoric to actually meaningfully participate in a debate is exceedingly small. Physicians and scientists spend a lot of time learning a language in which they can talk to other professionals. The training we get in terms of communicating broadly pales in comparison. .

"I'd tell you but it's way too complex. And you aren't smart enough."

"I'm winning "

"I'm going to show my buddies all this stuff and laugh. Even though I admit it doesn't matter to me!"

Most of that sounds like complete bullshite, man. But go ahead and write some more deep shite. I'm on the edge of my seat.

There are many cross trained professionals that are more than capable of taking on RFKjr- to pretend otherwise is ridiculous.

You haven't asked a question doofus. Ask something and I will answer it, as long as it isn't retarded.

Define many. Generally, our society tends to value specialization to the degree that I suspect many people who have scientific-only undergraduate degrees do not get any training in classical rhetoric. At one point in time, when we valued classical education, we could produce people like this. We don't seem to produce those people now though. For good reason. The volume of information required to know just to pass board exams is insane. For example, in 1991, First Aid for the USMLE Step 1 was around 150 pages. In 2025, it is 865 pages or so. Where in medical education are we going to find space to introduce a class or even a lecture on how to argue with bad-faith anti-vaxxers?

Let's say that this is true.

With vaccinations, you get a few kids on the spectrum and lots of kids who don't die.

Around 4% of Public Health credentialed professionals also have MD by their name.

Around 17,000 graduate from mph programs yearly.

You do the math.

That's without acknowledging that more than mph/md should be capable of taking on RFKjr.

You silly dum dum, no shite. Or rather, I just found out my recent specialization, but obviously that won't be meaningful to a person who doesn't understand how medical education works in the US.

Hey remember when you claimed you could read and interpret medical studies. And when I went on to discuss in detail two studies that were referenced in the OP and why the Twitter video was grossly mischaracterizing their content….you never posted back in that thread again

It’s why I don’t take useful idiots like you seriously. IQ is waaaaaay too low to hang.

So an incredibly small number. You really love making terrible arguments.

Well, yeah, RFK is not intellectually impressive and is only there because of nepotism. He is still skilled in rhetoric though. He's been in the public space for a long time. There is no one similar in the scientific space.

You can't have it both ways.

If he's an idiot, someone should be able to take him down.
