People should be free to criticize whomever. But you do not have freedom to occupy buildings, harass other students or deface public property. You do not have the freedom to incite violence. Tucker has done none of these things. The ones targeted have.

This is false. I hate Israel and I hate terrorists. It isn't one side or the other.

Well Candace Owens has been criticizing Israel since October 7th. She has been exposing a lot about the blackmail operations, etc. Most here will say that she’s gone off the rails into conspiracies, but I seriously doubt that any of them have actually watched her content for themselves.

Tucker’s fatal flaw was allowing Thomas Massie and Darryl Cooper to speak, and that’s about it.

This has to be the most incompetent cult of all time. They can't seem agree with everything cult leader trump says. Cults really knew how to be cults back in the olden days.

The comment was in reference to the current situation with Israel and Palestine. I assumed that because of proposed deportations of students over this matter, that’s what OP meant.

It is not Americans who are facing consequences. It is foreigners who have been allowed into this country. They do not have the same privileges that citizens have nor should they. If they behave in an unseemly manner they should be deported

Put aside your feelings about Hamas and Islamic terrorism in general. How do you feel about the idea of Americans facing these types of consequences for criticizing a foreign nation?

It's unconstitutional and shitty. Then again, the mere idea of deporting home grown citizens to prisons abroad should be too, but I doubt MAGA is too concerned about it.

They arent currently, but Trump has suggested it...and technically the AEA does allow for it under certain circumstances. Currently american citizens of Venezuelan heritage could be deported under the AEA

I intentionally left out the students being deported, because I knew that this would be the only response I would get.

Right before that quote, he was asked by the reporter if he was referring to Candace and Tucker. He replied “Yes”, and went on to say the quote I originally referenced about punishing American citizens for criticizing Israel.

No one, neither citizens nor non-citizens (if here legally) should be deported for speaking out on either side of an issue. That is pretty much the definition of free speech. We can't defend free speech only when it suits us or we may as well all join the democrats.
