He took a specific story and tried to overgeneralize it. That isn't what the story was about. People make arguments like that in every thread on this board and it totally derails a conversation. Don't be that guy.

Yeah, I'm sure some of the allegations made that night in other cities are substantiated. It would beggar belief that 100% of them would turn out to be false. But I think people here tend to do the opposite and assume 100% of them are true, when there's no shortage of people who will make up false stories to the press because they don't like migrants or maybe just want to get their name in the paper.

He obviously posted quotes from an article that show there were some false allegations of sexual assault. Nowhere did he make a claim about the trend of sexual assault in Germany.
