Kick'em all out and start over and then pass term limits.

He’s not good enough, he’s not smart enough, and gosh darnit, the Senate doesn’t like him.

If they want moral high ground over Moore, it has to happen ASAP.

That said, them delaying things to this point has likely ceded that high ground to any attentive voter.

If this is the reason, then they are some stupid fricks.

LA Times

quote:

Democratic senators, starting with six women, demanded the resignation of Sen. Al Franken on Wednesday, as another woman surfaced to say that the Minnesota senator had kissed her against her wishes.

Kind of goes without saying given some of their caucus.

@LeonHWolf
Ah, so this was scripted. "Let us all get on the record first saying that you should resign before you announce it. Will be really helpful when we beat up on Roy Moore. Thanks Al, you're the best." LINK

If this means Franken is announcing his retirement, then that means the Dems are gonna press the Roy Moore case VERY HARD once Franken is out. They will claim the high moral ground and press for him to bow out.

"After much discussion with my family......

I think the best way for me to address these problems I've faced is to.........remain in the Senate."
