Outside of a relatively small number of Freedom Caucus members, there is zero political appetite for fiscal conservatism in Congress.
If you don’t like the reality, i suggest you elect more Freedom Caucus Republicans.

I would love a huge spending cut across the board.
But the reality is we are getting this bill or a worse version of it if it is shite canned until more fiscal conservative members of Congress are elected.

Biden and the Democrats never wanted to cut any spending lol. There wasn’t even a consideration or discussion. Fiscal conservatism is non existent on the Democrat side.
There’s a bit of it on the Republican side and a dedicated contingent pushes for as much as they can which influences the legislation somewhat. But they’re not a large enough number to impact legislation in the meaningful way that they and others here would like.
Trump and House leadership has to deal with the numbers they have. They can only lose 3 votes and a large number of Republicans in Congress are not interested in fiscal conservatism.
You want a better outcome, elect more Freedom Caucus Republicans.
