Well if you could read you might recognize that he saying that the committee's priority is to put forward people in a diverse manner whether they win or not.
And since there is a finite number of minutes for promotion It's relatively simple to recognize that promoting the Muslim fencer who can't beat anybody is time taken away from promoting somebody who actually won

But he went on some rant about us hurting our chances to win medals based on literally nothing. That's why the article got taken down, because its a god awful poorly written piece that makes no fricking sense.

Couple of points.......The gays and darker folks might not be being selected on the team for being gay and or darker, but you’d be a liar if you didn’t admit they get far more attention from NBC and the MSM simply because of their diversity.
Blacks are better athletes than whites, and that is an undeniable, uncomfortable fact. As time goes on, they will take over sports they’ve traditionally not attempted because of access and affordability. This includes the winter sports, tennis, and gymnastics.
Boofoos have always done very well in figure skating. I admired Brian Boitano. Johnny Wier was an embarrassment. BTW: Greg Louganis is one of the greatest Olympians ever, and he had the good judgement to be discreet when he was competing. He is pretty swishy nowdays.
