Such a tragedy, now marginal players inherently bad for business can sue for collusion without any probable cause and benefit financially, what our country’s legal system is nowadays way too permissive to bullshite lawsuits, oh well we just need better judges IMO

Dude, the Jussey hoax is still hot on the table and you have the gaul to openly doubt that race hustling is a thing?
My post was about race baiting, which is politically motivated. The Jussey hoax was one guy trying gain sympathy for himself to save his acting gig.

Not even close to the same thing.

Another dumbass post by a supposed “lawyer” when Smollett’s accusations clearly represented that the accused screamed “MAGA” or wore Trump-related attire or whatever the case ultimately was, was race hustling and clearly the same thing, a blind man could see that then again you’re probably one of those LeBron fanboys who think LeBron’s superior to MJ and Justice Kavanaugh actually committed sexual crimes despite the clear lack of evidence.

The bigger question is, why is the NFL still tax exempt?

Lol, of course this board would upvote a false statement like this while completely missing the point of the NFL settlement. This protects the NFL from any potential fallout in court and at the same time makes it look like Kaepernick only cared about the money rather than the issues he was supposedly fighting for.

You are completely full of shite. I was discussing race baiting.

Race baiting is for the purpose of political gain. Race hustling (which you tried to straw man into the discussion) is for the personal gain of the person doing the hustling. It's not the same thing.

This can't be real.

That's nowhere near any deal he would've gotten with an NFL team...for his lifetime.

So now it's, I suck. Make the NFL look bad on National TV everyday by taking a knee and make more than Tom Brady's salary?

That sounds like a good deal to me.

Why dirty Pats laundry is the NFL hiding that they couldn't take this court? What would discovery show on the Pats? Refs, the league?

NFL must have some serious shite to hide outside of some lame-arse Kap story to keep this out of discovery and pay this sucky QB 60 million.

If that is true then here come the clowns. How many knockoffs will we see now. The guy lost it. Couldn't play and turned down the only or few offers he received. Now he has opened up a new way to get rich. Yeah, that's it. I'm offended now pay me.

For abisiness with the income of the NFL, sometimes it’s cheaper to stop the bad publicity. That can be worth a lot if converted to dollars.

i, for one, am super glad.

the nfl reaped what it sowed. 60m is getting off cheap. shame it didn't ruin it all. of course i never cared for pro football.. so what do i care?

my main point is they allowed and encouraged this horse shite behavior and had to pay the price.

sure hate that that Kaepernick "won," but i enjoy watching the nfl pay that hefty fee.

It's amazing how much you folks complain about this guy and know absolutely nothing about his career.

In 2014 Kaepernick signed a six-year contract extension with the 49ers, worth up to $126 million, including $54 million in potential guarantees, and $13 million fully guaranteed.

If that's how much it takes to make him move on and never play in the NFL again, Im happy with it.

Whatever works to never see him in an NFL uniform again.

Where does that payout come from? NFL Corporate treasury. Not me for sure. Good they had to pay, IMO; just for punishment for what they did to the Saints. And I'm sure Kap will be passing it out in the Hood; He really don't have a choice. So, maybe some good is done.

Means nothing in the big picture.
