She seems pretty intelligent to me.

quote:

"The main objective of our nation must be repairing the economy," she continues. "All our social concerns must come after this. Without a stable economy our great nation fails."

quote:

"Although I am disappointed that Governor Romney and Congressman [Paul] Ryan did not win, I am hopeful that President Obama will lead us to becoming the great UNITED STATES OF AMERICA that thrives,"

I agree with you about Sharpton and Toure, but not Perry. Read her bio.

Listen, I know Perry's background but tampons as earrings? Being an NBA player is equivalent to being a slave?

I mean, I guess she's as qualified on paper as a Katie Pavlich, but in execution she generally does things to shock people, acts as an authority on subjects but doesn't back her statements up with valid arguments. That's why I was including her in the same boat - the execution is the same as Toure and Sharpton although I get where you are going with the resume.

By listening to the audio, if you cannot tell the difference in the statements and backup rationale between:

Shepard Smith
Megyn Kelly
Greta Van Sustren

and

Melissa Harris-Perry
Rachel Maddow
Chris Hayes

I don't know what will convince you......it's not even close.

I didn't say their message was the same. I said virtually all of them are guilty of throwing statements out there that are meant to get an emotional reaction without backing them up with substance. At the end of the day, all of those shows are for entertainment.

As for her political bent, Dash has said on Fox’s air that the federal government “should not be a part of everything…I think that you should govern where you’re closest to home so that you can tailor your governing to the people’s needs. But for a big federal government to just throw a big blanket over an entire country and say ‘OK, we’re all a bunch of babies and now we’re all nice and warm and cozy’ is a bit ridiculous.”

And based on your comment, you're not very tolerant of minorities and "he-shes" (whatever that means) either.

Again, listening to them only, or reading the transcripts, listen to the substance in the comparison set. Yes, they both make statements designed to elicit an emotional reaction, but one side has more substance and backs it up with factual arguments a much higher %age of the time.

I guess it can appear that way if you're biased towards one side, but ultimately there's really no difference.

Megyn Kelly's show is awful, I wouldn't put her in there.

I don't like Greta at all, but Megyn's show is much, much worse.
