I just lost all (which wasn't much) of my respect for one Lisa Kennedy Montgomery. To mention Rudy in the same sentence, much less characterize his actions as similar to Michael Steele, is preposterous.

i have been critical of trump not doing enough to chase all of this treason down but, this needs to spill over into the next administration, no matter who wins the election. there were a lot more positives than negatives to rudy's strategy

Not only Rudy, but Bannon miscalculated the timing of the release of the information.

It took awhile for Watergate to come to a head too. It took months if revelations to get the public into it. If that took months to increase pressure on Nixon and to start the impeachment process, it might take months to put Biden under scrutiny. If the public starts getting interested, it leads to pressure on the press, FBI, etc.
As to the voters, if you have Biden engulfed in a scandal you might depress turnout. It might not have any effect. The objective would be to turn the independents off to Biden, but not so much that they just stay home.
Maybe the Democrats cover it up, but they’re doing that now with the help of the press, so that’s no change. Again maybe longer time frame forces more disclosures and you get some buyers remorse from the Dems.
