I don't seem to remember that thread going 1000+ pages and pulling in most of the poliboard. Trust the plan.

Why did you leave the south shore to bring your RINO arse to my hood?

Going with one facet of the equation, as opposed to looking at things in their entirety, is disingenuous. Coming from you, it isn’t surprising either.

Before you spout off about “false equivalency,”
this about PROCESS, so don’t dumb it down.

You calling me a RINO is amusing.

Ive looked at it from both sides, but as I've said, I have little empathy for a nation that was a terror for most of the 20th century and has pols that still want to "get the band backntogether."

We're still squashing cuba, many decades later, just because they were friendly with Russia.

I predict that you will be voting Dem soon, so Covington can be more like you want it to be.

So you think that this is the beginning of the new USSR? I mean, Putin may long for those days, but I see that as bluster, not an excited utterance. Time will tell.

Until Russia attacks a NATO country, then this is a regional affair. As such it is foolish to not take into account the history, economics, and geo-politics of the circumstances.

Putin seems to think the ethnic Russians are welcoming him with open arms instead of stingers and javelins and need to be protected from Ukraine.

So ethnic Ukrainians aren’t involved?

You’re implying that this is basically an ethnic civil war between ethic Russians in Ukraine and the invading Russians.

I must admit, it is an interesting take.

The two are not mutually exclusive.

Most ethnic Russians live in the eastern part of the country.

Considering the fighting going on in Donetsk over the last 8 years it's not exactly a fresh take.

bruh don't you know? if we are guilty of some things it now means we are guilty of all things to fit their narrative!

Nope. In 20 years over here I've never voted for a millage, millage renewal, tax hike or any democrat or suspect republican. Don't you work in the public school system?

While it might be bluster now, neither you nor I know what comes after him. If countries that used to suffer under the boot of the USSR want to join NATO, so be it. NATO doesn't invade, bit Russia does.

quote:

Absolutely agree. No US military involvement is needed.

I have. I see a potential aggressor who was crying about a future NATO limit on a country they might care to invade in the future.

I love the idiots proclaiming this was all unprovoked. That’s the biggest lie going right now, and you have mentally deficient imbeciles spreading those lies that they were fed by our media, who is working overtime to sweep our culpability under the rug. Once again, these fools have become preachers of their own deceit

There is a large contingent of Ukraine who does support Russia. The media is framing it differently and you bought it wholesale
