One can't help but think this was scripted for the next Hollywood blockbuster . . two many odd circumstances from the basement dweller to the convenient suicide in NH . . can't wait to hear the manufactured motive . . .

So, flock cameras, aka license plate readers, aka mass surveillance, works. I guess we're all cool with that, now?

From the reporting I saw a few ago, the shooter was tracked to the storage unit through his financial records. They had a name and did traditional police work to guess his location.

“In egentibus sine domicilio confidimus”

quote:

Interestingly, the national motto of the United States, "In God We Trust," is rumored to have been inspired by Brown's motto through a connection with Salmon P. Chase, the US Secretary of the Treasury responsible for the national motto, whose daughter married into a family of university benefactors

The motto for Brown University is "In Deo Speramus"

“In God we hope”

* “In the unhoused we trust” *
