This right here relegates you to the crayon room.

Had we elected a clothes mannequin to sit in the Oval Office in 2008, the economy would have doubled over what occurred during the Obama tenure. He dragged out the recovery from recession in FDR fashion with less impact than FDRs initiatives.

A mind beset with this flaw has no hope of meaningful commentary on anything else.

If you want me to pay any attention to you, you're going to have to come up with something interesting to say.

You haven't done it in about 4 tries. Just FYI.

He used to raise money for 0bama and Hillary. To call him a republican is laughable

He’s pissed his SkyBridge Capital sale deal fell through with the Chinese

Are you under the impression that you've posted something interesting?

You could just stop lying and whining?

What do you think you are accomplishing with all your whining anyway?

The TDS OP obviously doesn't understand economics but wants to present himself as knowledgable.

Here's another gem of not understanding how permanently low tax rates continually strengthen the economy.

The tax cut had an expected short term positive impact on the economy, similar to an unemployed person who can't find a job but takes out a second mortgage to squeeze the last bit of equity out of the house they can no longer pay for

So you're saying it's a lot easier to inherit an economy in deep economic recession that at the time was being talked about as possibly soon approaching Great Depression levels

vs

inheriting a stable growing economy like Trump inherited?

Only thing Trump has ever been good at is "inheriting".

The Mooch is not someone who I revere, but he does seem to have a pretty good handle on Trumps psyche and character challenges. I am surprised that he has completely flipped on Trump.

Did Bush Jr. not reduce tax rates in 2001 and then again in 2003?

What happened in 2008 genius?

I'll hang up and listen.

You have to be trolling...

Have to be.

You really believe we should keep tax rates high so people don't spend?

And you think tax rates caused the housing bubble??

Lord help you

He is a more advanced version of an NPC than xiv or Texshidder, I'll give him that, but I think he's got a virus or malware.

Dude, call 911 now.

TDS can be very harmful if untreated, and you have a bad case of it.

He was exposed and broke down quickly.

Started the thread with a bunch of opinion-based posts that he tried to play off as "facts" that couldn't be easily refuted with data.

His mistake was venturing into the tax and economics area, where his ignorance was no longer masked by opinions.

Oh ok.

So lowering tax rates to the point that you take in less tax revenue than you spend insures solid economic growth,

unless

something bad happens like a housing bubble and you don't have economic growth for a couple years, then it doesn't.

Gotcha.

Democrats want to keep tax rates the same or lower on the middle class and only raise them on the ultra rich who currently aren't paying in their fair share because of Bush and Trump.

The tax rate on the consumers (poor and middle class) shouldn't increase, I agree with you there.

Somehow Trumpsters can't seem to grasp the concept that tax increases can be targeted to specific groups and that a tax increase doesn't mean it will hit the poorer 95% of us.

Unless it's a Trump tariff, and of course that does impact all consumers, thus putting downward pressure on economic spending and growth.

Why do you use so many spaces in your posts? I had to clean it up in the quote.

So now that I've taught you tax cuts didnt cause the housing bubble, I'll teach you a bit more.

That bolded part in your post... take a look at that and tell me the flaw in that logic.

Should we blindly spend X amount and adjust tax rates to accommodate that spend...

Or should we spend more wisely and adjust tax rates for optimal economic growth.

I don't think you understand the negative correlation between tax rates and economic growth.

I don't know if you have a reading comprehension problem or you just enjoy building straw man opinions and assigning them to other posters and then basically arguing with yourself,

because I never said any of those things above.

At least when you argue with yourself, you win most of them don't you?
