Critics call MAGA a “Cult” but when Trump flinches, he can expect pushback. Johnson’s past and present weakness is going to be challenged on Jan. 3 and Trump/ Team will have to do some serious lobbying to convince the *Cult* to accept that crap. Hell, as I understand it Republican investigatory committees won’t even be able to subpoena emails which are public records. That is BS and intolerable.

Multiple people (including Rand Paul and MTG) have pitched Elon. But I think this may be just some divine reason that he didn’t get the nomination.

Imagine the DOGEing that could happen legislatively

Trump is a coward as usual. When push came to shove he caved. He let the Dems do whatever they want and then congratulated the pathetic excuse for a conservative in his handpicked SOH.

Trump will fail in this term in the same way he did in the first. He has changed nothing about the way he handled the first go round.

But continue to blow him because he’s your guy.

This wasn’t a loss for either Trump or the Democrats.

Taxpayers on the other hand…

But this is an absolute win for Trump

(especially if Schumer actually scuttles it and causes the shitdown after the wailing and gnashing of teeth of the last 48 hours)

I almost hope Schumer does

I think many don’t realize that the Trump team isn’t fricking around this time.

There are a number of conservative Ags on this board that post common sensical responses. And a bunch of LSU Tigers as well. Sorry I can't help you with your effort to continue to spew liberal BS. As stated, GFY.

The problem is the Dems have the senate. Republicans could have cut all the pork and raised the debt ceiling and got the votes in the house with the senate. Schumer wasn’t going for it. Need to get a lot done next two years

Just consider anyone pushing that nonsense as someone to be ignored. They are not serious.

Not required.

They would merely be passed over az ineligible.

Kissinger would have been passed over as SecState.

oh now you've gone and spoiled all the fun. I wanted to see how deep a hole this knucklehead was willing to dig.

But you're quite right. Kissinger and Albright were both secstate and both would have been passed over but that didn't make them ineligible for their positions.
