For the hoax claimers, the math and comparisons is pretty damn simple.

Im prepared for a shitstorm of downvotes, since the poliboard has morphed into an echo chamber of Covid deniers.
Right now if you watch the numbers (which we can do pretty easily on this board with Chrome’s great work) you can see that we are easily trending for the 100k - 200k deaths that are being projected by the experts with all of the social distancing guidelines in place. We’ll be at 2k deaths per day by the end of the week if not sooner so probably get to 100k in a couple of months.
Those same experts have clearly said the distancing is working, and if we had done nothing, would be closer to 2 million deaths.
The distancing is strict. Restaurants are closed for dine in. People only go to “essential” work, home, and the store. And in my relatively small town, while at those places people are keeping their distance and being careful.
So it seems clear to me that if no measures were in place, and things like sports events with tens of thousands of folks packed in tight areas were still going on, that the numbers would get out of hand quickly and easily reach 1.5 to 2.2 million deaths total their studies show.
Compare all of this to the flu, which averages in the lower tens of thousands of deaths each year. The particularly bad one in 2018 had 60k deaths. And those numbers are without any extra measures in place. Sure we have flu shots but people haphazardly get those (shite I never get a flu shot and have never had the flu. Dumb luck but still).
So apples to apples comparison, you have 60k worst case for the flu vs 2 million for Covid19.
So I ask you hoax claimers, what the hell numbers are you looking at?

But the numbers aren’t real. Didn’t you hear they’re counting people who died in car accidents as covid deaths?

Nobody is saying it’s a goddamn hoax, you mook.
Most of us are just tired of the overblown narrative that you cling onto due to fricked priorities.

The ones going down or flattening in NYC?
Don’t worry. Your president will handle it.

COVID is a hoax, look at the lack of cases!!!!!!!!!
*too stupid to realize the effects of social distancing and the premise of flattening the curve*

Welcome to the side of reason and logic.
I predicted 3,000 Louisiana cases by March 30 and 1 million US cases by April 30 and I was shot down by the ignorant of this board.
You can’t argue against statistics. Unless you are on this board.

Literally just watch a video of a person this board driving to hospitals, going inside asking where all the patients are, and screaming “THIS IS A HOAX!”.

I guess you missed the thread where the guy is going into hospitals and filming to expose the hoax.

Why does everything have to be “deniers” with you women?

When its declared that there is a line that lasts 4 hours and they are turning away countless people, which equation do we use?

Yeah, I guess I did. Congrats to you.
A hoax is something that’s fake. Not something that’s intentionally blown out of proportion.

OP, there aren't enough COVID19 hospitalizations across the country (ICU) to reach 100k deaths and discharges across the country for COVID19 are on the rise.
There is a legitimate argument that COVID19 had been around since December in many states, hence why some states are not seeing anything big happen.

Of course that's what they're saying.

If more people die from other flu viruses will we continue down the rabbit hole?

The Covid isnt a hoax - This shut down is so unnecessary though. Sweden hasn’t shut anything down and their number are the same as ours. This media has caused a shutdown and pressure in politicians to shut everything down when their sole purpose of this was to undo the unprecedented historic accomplishments of Trump. They got their wish but it will still backfire on them. God has always turned their attacks around as a positive for him.

Their mortality compared to confirmed cases is significantly higher than other neighboring countries, who put in stricter measures.
So sure, we can be like Sweden, we just have to be okay with intentionally killing more Americans to do it.

Why is that clear to you...?
First, it was spread around the US before March...hundreds of thousands have had it, so death rates are off.
Second, their models were wrong. They are anywhere from 2x to 10x over the mark, AND THAT WAS BEFORE ANYONE LOCKED DOWN.
Third, other than a few outliers, this disease is competing with the flu to kill the same people.
Fourth,THEY ARE COUNTING EVERYONE THAT HAS HAD IT DYING FROM IT, INCLUDING FALLING OFF LADDERS, ALZHEIMERS, etc.
None of their numbers are real...

Why do you people insist with this Strawman logic? People aren’t denying that there is indeed a virus. The hoax refers to the media’s sensationalized reporting and government overreaction.
When the media makes claims like millions will die then what other than a hoax would you call that type of reporting?
