What did shuttering the worlds largest economy do to help the pocketbook of the average Floridian?

I’ve not heard that DeSantis is running for office. Seems to me the cart is before the horse.

BDR was far superior to Trump on Covid. I also like that he passes bills, whereas Trump talks about doing things that never happen.

No he wasn't.

Trump authority ended where DeSantis' began.

Trump could only advise AS WRITEN BY THE CONSTITUTION of the USA.

DeSantis locked down his state.

DeSantis went to the WH to talk about reopening and followed that plan.

He would not have even been on the bills Trump was pushing for.

- RD pushed to fast track TPP

etc etc.

- Second, had he been the one pushing these ideas, he would have been stopped by Paul Ryan.

He's not taking to DC the FL legislature with him.

You know, many Americans watched Trump stand next to Fauci every day for six months at a press conference, and never once disagree with anything Fauci had to say. We also watched him agree to shut the national economy down. You can’t convince us we didn’t see what we know we saw. But you can try I guess

I liked it when Ron shut down his state and wouldn’t let louisianans in. Solid policy.

tomato/tomahto. And the article didn’t name desantis by name. Interesting when you need precision and when you don’t.

DeSantis requires travelers from New Orleans to isolate.

I don't know if that is true, but it is true Trump has done some things that are 10x stupidier.

This is some seriously strong data and analysis.

Here is your analysis.

Trump brought Lin Wood and Sidney Powell into Georgia who sabotaged Loeffler and Perdue before the 2020 GA Senate runoff.

Losing those two seats gave control of the Senate to the DEMS.

It was perhaps the stupidest move in political history. Total incompetence.

GA Dems who decided not to vote lost the senate seats. I didn’t like what powers and wood did at all. However that wasn’t a policy, which is the topic of this thread. You want to try again?

I’m talking about actual policies that would cause someone to flip from not voting Republican to voting for Ron

I think his policies on school curriculum reform, that he has already actually acted on in Florida, could be really popular with the more independent types. Especially when he can get on stage and really flesh it out and they aren't hearing a sensationalized version from the media. He hasn't said anything specific as far as what he would do about that but I imagine something similar to what he did in Florida.

GA Dems won. They didn't lose anything.
