I've been cooking every day since the age of 21. I do small grocery shopping every day instead of loading up once a week. This gives me a chance to read labels. At first I checked fat grams, sodium, sugar and calories.
Then I dropped calories because I determined that high calorie intake is more correlated to volume than food choice.
IE, some people buy low calorie cookies and then eat the whole damn box and wonder why they're fat.
OTOH, a simple package of frozen hot tamales might have 20 grams of fat per serving while an equal amount of a competitor has 60 grams of fat.

Great to see people taking responsibility for own well being.

Thanks but I’m no saint. Just simple life changes that were easy, did not squeeze my bank account at all, and were way past due at 36.

The #1 risk factor for Slope Death is also the easiest and cheapest to reverse. I’d be a hypocrite if I didn’t lose weight while also refusing the vax. Wouldn’t be able to look my kids in the eye if I did neither.

Eat less, run more. Don’t be a fat arse.

I never run anymore, but I'd wager I'm in better shape than most. I just do 100 pushups a day and walk my dog. That's probably considered an athlete by today's standards.
