Which corporation owns the seas?
Terrible analogy.

You think they were offering to light $12.5M/year on fire just to "muzzle" Crowder?
Do you think Rush Limbaugh would have built much of a career if his pay got heavily docked every time he lost a sponsor? He would have likely been fired in his final years, if so.
Women marry bad boys and expect Ward Cleaver when the
"I Do's" are finished. You can't be an alternative source of media if your content ends at the line of social media defined "misinformation", and once their audience wises to the fact the DW plays by the same rules as the WSJ, NYT and other hack media, they'll be hurting for more than just sponsors.

I watched the DW response video from Boering. Crowder looks like shite here.

Neat.
The thread is about Crowder specifically.
Let's stay focused.

So instead of allowing businesses to protect themselves from loss of revenue, you think they should just give crowder a blank check to do whatever he wants, revenue streams be damned?quote:
If he’s bringing views/clicks, then what is the issue?
If they do not generate revenue, why does the employer (DW) give a flying frick how many of them occur?
quote:just … wow
And how can there be a loss of revenue?

Because you’re too fricking stupid to comprehend it. Per usual.

As much as I can like Crowder, he does edgelord shite that is sometime asking for it.
He's necessary and that is necessary sometimes. He does and says things other people won't and he takes the arrows for it.

He must have no idea how to monetize his content. I just don't understand why he is not making money with some kind of Rumble deal.
How do you know he hasn't talked to Rumble? What makes you think he doesn't have as big of an online presence in the space as Glenn Greenwald or Russell Brand?

Businessmen aren't ideologues. They worship money over all.
If youre looking for conservative purity, the Daily Wire is the last place you want to read.

outside of things like "okay, dude." from Zuby or censorship from Rogan when he was talking COVID, most everybody knows exactly why they get cancelled.
i think big tech media is way overzealous on cancellations and censoring things, but most of the time when Crowder got a strike, it was him being an a-hole.
and that's OK. i think he should be able to be an a-hole. he's a very funny, likeable a-hole, but he knows good and well what he was doing most of the time.
e.g. do i think Kanye should have had his account suspended for posting a swastika? no. was he a dumbass and knew that he was being provocative and asking for it? yes.

I find it funny the way Styx gets around demonetization. He usually puts out three 10 minute videos per day on three different topics. He publishes only one video to YouTube and all three to Rumble and other social media platforms like Odysee and Bitchute. When he approaches a subject that is verboten on YouTube he gives it a "honk honk"...

That's how Styx navigates BigTech censorship. He makes it a game and it's kind of entertaining.

Crowder has been doing this for a long time with Mug Club.
He knows the game. YT wont let me talk about mumble mumble. Follow us over to xyz, i’ll tell you all about it.

At the same time, he should not expect to be paid by his employer, when his a-hole behavior costs that employer significant sums of money.

Pool talks pretty openly about how he works it out.
He said, he'd love to leave youtube and be done with them, but the money is too good.
I didn't catch all of it from 2 nights ago, but he explained that he could probably do what he's doing by himself and be a millionaire still. the way he does it now allows him to employ about 50 people with more stress and making less money. i'm sure DW is having to deal with that exponentially more with 300+ employees.
i work for a small business. there are 5 of us and 3 of us share the same last name. my boss is a second dad to me and he's grateful to bless my life with a great job... but i'm under no impression that his bottom line is anything other than himself and his family, not giving me a job.

I wonder how many new subs Steven Crowder has earned over this little bitch fest?
Anyway, I generally like Steven Crowder but I don't like his show. The format kills me. Get to the f'n point already. I don't have the patience for shows that long. If I do listen to them because I'm interested in the subject matter I usually have to put the playback speed on 1.5.
