Strannix why don't you give us your review of why the decision is definitively "wrong".

I did in another thread. The reasoning the judge used would apply to any restriction of immigration. As such, it doesn't make sense as it would limit the President's ability to restrict immigration no matter what restriction they made.

The judge isn't the Ninth. The judge's decision is reviewed by the Ninth which is then reviewed by the SCOTUS

If his decision is reviewed by the ninth, his court is in the ninth circuit.

guess it's whatever the House wants to accuse them of. Looks like some of the OG judges were too damn drunk to perform their duties. Some of them probably hit on the first lady. I guess those could still apply today. Maybe this Robart guy is a warlock. I'm sure Donald's people are on it.

So no real answer as to what would qualify as misconduct in YOUR mind?

I wonder why that is

Says the Russian.
The difference is I didn't start a thread on the Help Board asking Chicken to give me a new screen name because I'm embarrassed by it like VCULSUTigerRamsetcetc did.

The danger here is rule by black robe. Don't like the wall? Shop a judge and get him to stop it. Open our borders wide by filing suits in Federal Court.

Cut off money to sanctuary cities? No you don't Donald! We don't have a pen and phone but we DO have a judge and the 9th Circuit!

OK Congress..pass that tax cut for the rich? Noooooo you don't! Suit time! Those cuts are morally wrong!

Nuclear option to nominate Gorsuch?? OH NO YOU DIDN'T! And you won't once the judge steps in.

If you can't see this coming you are blind. Rule by a black robed dictatorship with NO checks and NO balances. The Left rules the country.

Well good for you, sincerely. Beating Cancer's arse is a great thing. In spite of your claims of some time ago, I never really wished death on you or anyone else.

Doesn't everyone? Pretty sure that was standard even in backward Louisiana by the time I was born in 1983.

So you didn't say "Good. I hope he's dead." when someone mentioned I had not posted for a couple of months on this board?

Of course. Pretty sure I noted it as a joke then and now. I've written similar things about friends.

Well, you have a better chance of winning the lottery than a being killed in a terrorist attack: roughly 1 in 3.6 billion.

Well, there's a fake statistic.

You wrote "Good. I hope he's dead."

Then about 20 minutes later you edited the post to add, "ETA: Whoever downvoted this is easily offended.

Or they don't know Russian."

After another poster called you out for posting the first part, you replied to her with "I was just kidding...mostly."

You're all class.

I haven't read either brief, I will say that a "likelihood of success on the merits" is not the same as "likely to succeed on the merits." The test is closer to "plaintiffs have asserted a claim which would survive a motion to dismiss for failure to state a claim."

Exactly. This wasn't a ruling on whether or not the EO was within the president's power. But people are arguing as if it was.

It was a joke, Russian. That's obvious. Sorry you took it literally. Another poster thought I wanted him to commit suicide because I posted a picture of a girl with a gun in her mouth. Got a nice ban for that.

You're bad at talking and reading. That didn't say "terrorist attack." It said "terrorist attack on an American on American soil by a refugee." Add a few more disclaimers and you'll increase the odds to 10B.

You just proved the other poster correct when he called you out for your incorrect stat.

Even worse, you still don't realize it.

You keep harping on this. In my mind, I would say something like the examples I gave. Definitely not a simple TRO. How about you?
