it is expensive to lay down fiber and get permission from landowners to do so.
additionally, if new players enter the market they will essentially repeat what has been done before (how fricking stupid is that?)
society benefits from the product (ISP) but it also benefits by not requiring this high capital cost to be paid more than once.
so the government allows natural monopolies to exist but heavily regulates them to protect the consumer.
a great example of this is utility companies.

You're whole argument was I was an a-hole for using KODI. You're just a hypocrite that can't take being called out everytime you jack it on pornhub.
Keep selling your Otter Boxes.
Oh, and sorry I didn't specify KODI is a means to watch videos from a host. A host on the internet. Similar to you viewing a video on a website.
All better little man?

Because you're telling every future company that might want to do something big in tech........"hey, go ahead..........and after everyone loves your product..........we're going to demand you give that shite you spend $$$$$ on to your competitors!!!".
Man. It's almost impossible to predict how that might turn out..........wait. No. It's not.

If you aren't going to use the correct description of something, don't talk about it. Words have meaning.
I'm sorry you're butthurt because I called you out.
Get over it.

ISPs aren't utility companies.

I don't care he's a theater major.
My point is he lays out basic arguments that I pointed out and others have before I even posted the video old man.

It's expensive to build large factories.
And, if new players want to enter the market, they have to essentially build similar factories.
HOW frickING STUPID IS THAT!!!

Good.
You point out arguments as laid out by the stand up guy, and I'll articulate arguments as laid out by me.
Ya know. Cause ONE of us doesn't need a proxy(stand up comedian proxy no less).

No he doesn't. Probably because he's a theater major and talk show host.

I'm glad you don't have a proxy. We can all see how stupid you are at face value.

No he doesn't. Probably because he's a theater major and talk show host.
This is what passes for intellect and knowledge in 2017.

Do you even understand how most websites make money?
I'm serious, because by making the statement above it shows you don't.

the cost is the same once the infrastructure is setup; the number of GB you use is only relevant to them when their infrastructure is maxed out.
this is where there is a disconnect between old people (who do not understand how the internet works) and younger people
guess which camp you fall into?
