This could get interesting. Why was the executive branch putting assets in an opposition party campaign?
Or did someone already within campaign credibly get a whiff of something fishy and report it to the FBI, at which time they began probing the accusations?
Because in one case the FBI's actions would be beyond criminal. Like J. Edgar Hoover shite.
In the other case, the FBI not investigating the accusations would have been beyond criminal.
