The FBI for the first time has identified fringe conspiracy theories as a domestic terrorist threat, according to a previously unpublicized document obtained by Yahoo News. (Read the document below.)
The FBI intelligence bulletin from the bureau’s Phoenix field office, dated May 30, 2019, describes “conspiracy theory-driven domestic extremists,” as a growing threat, and notes that it is the first such report to do so. It lists a number of arrests, including some that haven’t been publicized, related to violent incidents motivated by fringe beliefs.
The document specifically mentions QAnon, a shadowy network that believes in a deep state conspiracy against President Trump, and Pizzagate, the theory that a pedophile ring including Clinton associates was being run out of the basement of a Washington, D.C., pizza restaurant (which didn’t actually have a basement).

The FBI’s shitty reputation has led to this, clean up your own house, so these conspiracy theories don’t have legs. Right now, no one thinks the FBI is credible. Heck QAnon has more credibility, right now, which seems to be the real threat to the FBI, exposing their injustice, which is why QAnon made the list IMO

I can't understand a lot of it but what I can figure out is it is mostly saying what is happening or what they think is going to happen. I haven't seen any call to arms or violence, myself.It appears to be more whistleblowing than anything else, accurate or not. The FBI must be feeling threatened.

The truth is that there isn't anything wrong with an FBI whitepaper saying QAnon and whatnot can lead nutjobs astray and into violence. It's not a domestic terrorist threat but feeding that shite to social outcasts can have bad results, no doubt.
My problem is that you've got Presidential candidates labeling Trump as a predator and dick measuring as to who is going to crucify an individual border patrol agent the hardest, and it's on a much bigger stage and probably influencing a much larger swath of people toward violence.
In other words, in a world where appropriate attention was being paid to the radicalization of the left on a large scale, I wouldn't care if the FBI was also paying due attention to handfuls of white supremacists or 4chan incels.
