I see what you’re saying there, but it’s irrefutably gotten to the extent wherein if you’re first thoughts in any of these similar matters isn’t a literal question as to whether you’re maybe dreaming this, you might be leftist. The last time there was such “shocking” actions from armed federal agents not involving a Waco situation was probably Elian Gonzales. And if you’ll recall that did “shock” the country at large and was covered extensively for several news cycles. The primary question and concern was whether the agency and agents had acted far too aggressively with seeming stormtroopers sticking guns where they weren’t necessary.
Now, considering that feeling in the air then, over a little kid in a closet, imagine the consequences and results in that same period in history had Clinton’s DOJ/FBI done the sane to a string of folks in a short period, including associates of George H.W. Bush as well as Bush himself, then for good measure some of those folks who protest at military funerals. The country would literally be different right now from that.
That above is as similar as it gets to what’s actually happened and happening now. To me it’s beyond explanation that any reasonable person doesn’t believe as a result that we’ve crossed a very bad threshold and can’t go back.

Of course. You could look at the Roger Stone raid as a more recent example. The idea that the FBI deserves the benefit of the doubt or is above lying is ignorant on its face.
