FBI 302s confirm Trump was NOT a suspect prior to Mueller's appointment.

In the following excerpts from an FBI 302 report (summary written by an FBI agent following an interview), it is made clear three times that the FBI did not believe President Trump was a suspect. (Source of information: The Dan Bongino Show, Episode 1191, February 27, 2020)
1. FBI agents confirmed to [acting Attorney General Rod] Rosenstein on May 10, 2017 that the President was not a suspect.
2. This was also Rosenstein’s impression from his initial April 28 briefing he received from then Director Comey.
3. Rosenstein elaborated that based on his May 10 briefing, “there appeared to be no evidence the President was involved personally.”
quote:
Any reasonable person would assume that would have been the end of the Trump/Russia collusion story. But it wasn’t.
So why did Rosenstein appoint a special counsel to investigate President Trump, a man he knew was innocent?
Bongino’s Analysis:
Do you understand the tactical nuke this is? Rosenstein knows, he’s been briefed by the FBI as early as April, that this case is total garbage and that President Trump is not a suspect in this thing, and they refuse to clear him. Why?
Because the Mueller probe has one purpose…To nail Donald Trump.
On May 10, Mueller is appointed to investigate Trump for a scandal that doesn’t exist.
It was always an effort to accumulate enough political damage on Donald Trump to hopefully impeach him, to get him out of office before this thing resulted in some denouement at the end.
Now you have it nailed down. Rosenstein knew what Mueller was going to do. That’s why he appointed Andy Weissmann. Andy Weissmann having a reputation for, at best, shady legal tactics. They appointed him knowing he’d keep this case open and knowing Trump wasn’t a suspect the entire time.

I don't feel like reading all that let alone clicking on all that.
Orange Man bad or no?

Oh my. It's almost as though the vaunted United States of America is taking on the indicia of a Totalitarian Leftist Police State. Oh my. What shall we do?

I think the OP messed up the formatting.
Seems to me this confirms orange man is not bad. The Mueller thing was a total sham. Lots of folks committed crimes.

Nothing will happen. Doesn’t matter what is uncovered.

Yeah, not sure what happened.
the TL;DR version... FBI said it has no evidence on Trump Russia collusion and then Rod Ro opened the investigation anyway.

This is parroted around here so often I feel like you guys should write a song about it.
Maybe a parody version of Metallica's Nothing Else Matters.

I mean.. of course they knew. That's why they had to bullsh*t their way around FISA and sneak around with secret texts, etc... Rosenstien was willing to wear a wire to get Trump for Christ sakes.
This was always about hanging Trump with a process crime. This was entrapment.

Mueller was applying for a job in the Trump administration THE DAY BEFORE HE WAS NAMED SPECIAL PROSECUTOR.
After that, he was a figurehead who did NOTHING except what his handlers and friends told him to do, including packing his team with partisan Democrat operatives.
His testimony established that he understood NONE of the issues involved and the investigation yielded only process crimes or corruption unrelated to "Muh Russians".
It was an attempted coup and everyone involved should be done. Either in jail, broken, disgraced, what have you, like they tried to do to Michael Flynn and Roger Stone, merely for opposing them politically.

Damn straight. Weissman even admitted it on live television. A perjury trap.
Why in the hell wasn't he arrested on the spot? Trying to entrap the president of the united States in an effort to undo an election should be a pretty serious crime I would think. Sedition at the least.

I don't buy this. He wasn't eligible for the position he was supposedly "applying for." I won't get into what I think was going on, but I don't buy the official story on this.

The 10-year rule is waiveable by the Senate. In fact, they did waive it for Mueller before.

So, you think Mueller was wearing a wire for his buddies at the FBI?

No wonder he does not want us to see those scope memos, written proof by him to carry out the coup.

Stranger, get a rope.

Interesting. I didn't know that. Well, maybe he was applying for a job.
I don't think it makes much difference though. In any event the entire thing appears to have been a fraud.
