2018 - 15635

So, it's NOT the 80,000 that the director of the CDC told to all major media in Sept of 2018?

And it is NOT the 60,000 or so the CDC backpeddled to?

NOW it is more in the range of 15,000?

Good to know

But the fact remains, only an idiot or a liar would continually misrepresent statistics the way you are. Even if I'm not trying to be insulting, that is just the reality of the situation here. You started this thread for the sole purpose of comparing actual counted death certs mentioning flu (and incomplete data at that) to a full flu season from a couple years ago that has been estimated at a 4X multiple over actual counted death certs.

And after this fact has been pointed out multiple times, you keep doubling and tripling down on this narrative. It's time to give it up.

Again, are you an idiot or a liar?

I have explained this at a level that a 5 year old can understand. The majority of flu-related deaths are NOT recorded as such on death certs. These CDC counts only include the ones that DO. The yearly flu death estimates are reconstructed based on observed excess deaths, among other factors. And this process takes years.
