Far-Left Terrorist Sentenced To 13 Years, Faces More Charges Tied To 34 Deaths

A court in Germany sentenced former Red Army Faction member Daniela Klette to 13 years in prison Wednesday for armed robberies carried out over the last three decades.
Klette, 67, had been hiding in plain sight, living under a fake name in the German capital for over three decades, according to The Guardian. LINK
She was arrested at her Berlin home in 2024 and faced a 14-month trial after she was identified by an investigative journalist using facial recognition software, Reuters reported.
She was found guilty of accounts of aggravated robberies, along with kidnapping for ransom and possession of military weapons between 1999 and 2016, according to the Guardian. When she was found, officers unveiled a store of weapons, forged identity documents, a fake bazooka, wigs, gold and cash. (RELATED: How Trump Admin Is Taking Leftist Terrorism Crackdown Worldwide)
Klette was the last female member of the far-left terrorist group, the outlet reported. The Red Army Faction was a leftist protest movement that engaged in violent actions such as kidnappings, murders, and armed robberies, according to Reuters. Prosecutors said Klette was a part of the third generation of the group known as the Baader-Meinhof Gang, which killed 34 people between 1971 and 1991.
Klette is also being accused of politically motivated attacks from when the Red Army Faction was still active in the 90s, but those charges will be dealt with later in Frankfurt, the Guardian reported.
The 67-year-old German woman can no longer be tried for membership in a terrorist group since it ended over 20 years ago, the outlet reported. The group disbanded in 1998, when they issued a final statement declaring an end to “urban guerrilla warfare,” Reuters reported.
Police are still looking for two men who are suspected of being her accomplices. Investigators said they have found the men’s DNA in Klette’s apartment, where she was arrested.

How is there a statute of limitations on murder? If this is true, then how were SS guys tracked down and tried well into their 80”s and 90’s +?
If you’re in a terrorist group, get away with murder for years, and then declare “OK we’re done, no longer a terrorist!” then you’re free to just move on with life with no consequence? This doesn’t make sense, but it’s also Germany I guess.

Why would a trial need to last 14 months?

Leftist are inherently violent and incapable of impartiality. Treat them accordingly.
