Drive out to a farm and get a cow butchered. Up front cost are tough but you’ll get a bargain still

$20/lb @ Costco for tenderloin. Insanity.

My deer meat, all things considered, probably $100/lb.

Yep. They don't want people buying beef. Cow farts are bad for the planet. I hate these controlling pieces of shite. I hope there's a cattle stampede on Washington.

Hunting ain’t cheap, land lease, rifle, and ammo all cost money. If the Dems have their way that would in essence outlaw hunting through taxes and gun restrictions.

I have a good friend who is a cattle farmer in Virginia. He says there is plenty of beef out there, just not enough plants to process it. Just sent his heard to market and did not make as much per head as he did last year.

For now. There use to slaughter houses every 20 miles apart; no more, but they'll likely come back. But if this trend holds, there will be a 'Head Tax' on meat animals in the near future. Bet the farm on it.

Then I will just process it myself for me and my family.. I do it with venison.. Seems like pork or beef should be a problem.

Why so shocked? This is straight out of the Green New Deal playbook. frick AOC even tweeted this prior to the election. Sure, none of us listen to Buccee squirrel brains but she is a goddess to the left. This is simply a silent appeasement of one of her handler's wishes.
