Ex-MLB Commissioner calls out current MLB Commissioner over moving the All-Star Game.

Daily Wire
quote:
Former Major League Baseball (MLB) Commissioner Fay Vincent slammed MLB Commissioner Robert Manfred in an op-ed this week for his decision to withdraw the league’s All-Star Game from Atlanta after Georgia enacted a new law aimed at tightening the security of elections in the state.
Vincent made his criticisms of Manfred in an op-ed published on Tuesday in The Wall Street Journal, calling boycotts an “act of desperation” and saying that Manfred made “a serious mistake” by rushing to pull the All Star Game out of the state “without first protesting the substance of the law.”

Manfred is about the worst ever. At least the worst MLB Commissioner ever. Ok, worst outside of Landis.
Anyway, dude is horrible. Won't do anything to the cheatin Houston Trashtros. Calls the World Series trophy a piece of metal. Stupid disciplinary actions and suspensions that make no sense. Won't do anything about the umps. And now this. Complete and total idiot.

When a man named Fay has the biggest spine in the room.

My question is why does an entertainment industry feel the need to become so politically active on a law that exists in one form or another in other states in which they already play...including the one they moved the All Star Game too.
This is purely MLB taking a one-sided political jab. I know that's become the new corporate standard with all the ideological Ivy League morons littering up corporate top floors, but I fail to see how it will ever be good business or ethics.

Fay Vincent sucked up to the owners after the 94 strike. I had no use for him. Landis was an arse, but he did what he had to do with the Black Sox. Both are light years ahead of Mafred.

If MLB owners had any sense, they'd fire this guy tomorrow. In the end, there's a good chance that pulling the ASG from Atlanta is going to cost MLB owners (and eventually players) a shitload of money.

Why does baseball get involved with our politicial process?
Georgia went through the legal bill-passing process in the state legislature, and it passed.
The LEFT LOST, and they do not handle losing very well....thats what is going on here. Pro and college sports are LEFT, so they feel they must say something, but nobody is listening.

Fay Vincent is probably considered the owners’ embarrassment they wish would just go away.
If Bart Giamatti hadn’t dropped dead of a heart attack, he never would have been commissioner.
If Fay hadn’t considered realigning baseball to put the Cubs and Cards into the NL West, we wouldn’t have had Bud Selig take over as GM.

Nothing like having a commissioner who knows jack shite about the game of baseball.

Peter Uberroth claimed to know a lot about baseball.
He also managed to get a large enough lawsuit by the players against the owners that they had to add two teams to get the money to pay it off.

Baws should try to stuff the ballot box with the worst players. If Bad Orange Man promotes the idea it might work.

Manfred sucks so much arse. Easily the worst ever. Every move he makes is just a disaster
But I didn't think even he was dumb enough to go through with moving the game

to a state and city wayyy more white than Atlanta, GA and with more restrictive voting laws.
Literally the opposite of sense or the reason why all of the butthurt in the first place.
