I’m rebuking Trump on failing at one of the biggest aspects of his job.

His job is to vet appointments.

This isn’t a oh no whoopsie daisy situation and wasn’t an isolated incident. Hindsight is 20/20 doesn’t absolve him of it.

Hindsight 20/20 could apply to say Rex tillerson. Wasn’t great. Had to get fired but didn’t screw anything up.

When it’s a pervasive problem and happened back to back with two attorney generals and the problems with those two appointments mired the administration in scandals, impeachments and possibly caused him to lose the White House?

That causes people to reasonably question his vetting and hiring practices.

You don’t question firing Miles got his poor offensive coordinator choices well this is the same thing.

If I was a bank and my hiring manager brought in two people in a row who embezzled money then I would fire the hiring manager.

I don’t throw up my hands and say “welp hindsight is 20/20, we will get ‘em next time chuck!”

You make me laugh!

There’s the problem, right there. The definition of ‘solid a conservative senator’ is in the eyes of the Party leadership, and not in the eyes of the generally conservative voter.

The leadership wants:
Endless illegal immigration for the Chamber handlers and the business owners / donor class
Any War at Any Time in Any Location for Any Duration, for the MIC money
Power consolidated in DC

The Rubio conservative to thrive, and the DeSantis conservative to die

The average conservative voter wants the opposite of these.

The Cruz & Trump team won that debate of exposing Rubio with the help from Christie. (We all now finally see through Cruz) NOTICE: how long it took for Cruz to be shown for what he was-a super secret Bushy planted smart man to fool conservatives.

Rubio covered for the establishment regarding Wolfe leaking highly classified documents to the media. On behalf of Warner, Burr, McCain and so on... to paint the SpyGate--dossier big picture- to get Trump.

So, Rubio got the coveted Chairmanship. As his conservative rouse that came in on the tea party mantle gig was exposed.

Rubio was tweeting GO8 intel in the beginning of war in the Ukraine-Pumping up the war like a neocon robot establishment tool.

The establishment are slick as snakes tricky with Ryan, Romney, Rubio as small examples...

Marco Rubio is one of the reasons we could see through Cruz finally. Rubio isn't a conservative anymore, he is a robot tool of the big E.

LINK ] Marco Rubio has a secret

I truly hope DeSantis turns out to be his own man. But the current twitter wars with DeSantis people joining DeSantis using covid to primary fight Trump is telling.

Read the LINK ]side by side comparison of Ron and Trump regarding covid. They are identical. Ron was on camera pushing the vax, took the vax. It is a non- issue of debate.

Yet DeSantis is rolling with it because he is listening to Karl Rove and the big E.

This is not the time to primary fight. Why doesn't Ron meet with Trump to help with his lawyer skills on the astounding DOJ abuse of power?

Until this govt dictatorship is slain who cares about primaries? DeSantis could be President who knows--BUT THIS IS NOT THE TIME. The big E pushing him is the tell.

The establishment not thinking an attack and raid of President Trump is a big deal-Is a no-brainer they are in on it.

It is profoundly disgusting that Karl Rove, Barr, are taking the DOJ/FBI's side. Much less, *While pimping DeSantis.

'm beginning to believe Desantis is establishment. Or in their camp enough that they don't fear him at all.

W. Bush, Paul Ryan, John McCain even to some degree Mitt Romney were all firebreathers until they got their place at the DC trough. These are men whose fortunes were all made or based in the machine that is Washington D.C. DeSantis is no different. It's one thing to be a conservative Governor, shake a finger while still sucking down federal money, it's something else entirely to rock the boat sitting in the high chair in the pit of evil itself.

DeSantis is a very good governor. I don't trust him a centimeter in the White House and there's a big reason the establishment is quietly lining up behind him.

DeSantis IS different, until he does those things. He has yet to do those things, and until he does, he is not like those cowards mentioned.

Agree. I think they see that quality in Desantis for whatever reason. Its one thing to speculate on how a candidate might act in office, it's another to have been in the hotseat already.

I worry assassination. I can't imagine they'd be willing to put forth a smear campaign on that scale again for Trump, much less anyone take it serious the second time.

Im not sure I'd even want Desantis VP as Pence 2.0. Almost just as safe as a nationwide lottery for VP.

Whoever wins the Powerball gets the VP slot. At least they'll have their own FU money.
