Informative interview that reveals an insiders viewpoint about the workings and cultures within OpenAI vs Anthropic. Also, his opinion regarding the potential outcomes of Super Intelligence depending on whether Anthropic or OpenAI achieve it first.
Below is a summary.

This video features an interview with Jacob Coxon, a former researcher at both OpenAI and Anthropic, who resigned due to concerns regarding the safety and rapid pace of AI development (0:01:59).
Key takeaways from the discussion:
Concerns about the AI Race: Coxon argues that both OpenAI and Anthropic are racing recklessly toward self-improving superintelligence without sufficient regard for safety (0:02:13). He believes that the current competitive landscape is driven by free-market incentives that force companies to prioritize speed and power over crucial safety research (1:00:57).
Cultural Differences: Coxon notes distinct cultural differences between the two companies. Anthropic is described as highly focused on its mission, with a strong internal alignment, whereas OpenAI is perceived as more chaotic and distracted (0:47:20-0:49:08).
Potential Risks: Throughout the conversation, there is an ongoing discussion about whether the perceived dangers are "fear porn" or legitimate existential threats. Coxon emphasizes that the rate of progress is exponential, making the future unpredictable and potentially dangerous (0:32:00-0:33:00).
China and National Security: A significant portion of the interview covers concerns regarding Chinese espionage and their ability to catch up by "distilling" or copying US-based AI advancements (0:13:00-0:14:00).
The 2027 Turning Point: Coxon highlights 2027 as a potentially critical year for the AI industry, suggesting that the advancements occurring in the next few years will lead to significant, rapid global changes (0:03:26).
Coxon clarifies that he is not trying to trigger a "witch hunt" but is speaking from a personal conviction that these labs need to take safety and potential misuse much more seriously (0:14:45).

Jacob Coxon is a LARP in a psyop ...
/Work in AI. Wouldn't hire this kid if he was the last engineer on earth.

He's no personal friend of mine.
Please explain why you have that opinion.

I've watched a couple of his interviews.
He doesn't have the intellectual skepticism/cynicism or critical thinking skills required to work in any science field.
He's the perfect dullard that can rest on an appeal to authority ("I worked at OpenAI") and was probably a junior data scientist/intern at best.
He's a younger version of Nate Soares (another retard with a megaphone who gets a lot of these interviews for some reason).

AI in healthcare. Aren't diagnostics being used in the UAE region?

This board has concluded that any criticism of AI is propaganda.

They're not wrong ...
The idea that harnesses (agents) running neural nets, transformers, RL against large LLMs is one step from Skynet/Terminator is propaganda by these clowns looking to block open-weight models competition through regulatory capture ...
