While College Football will always be my first love, there was a time when I enjoyed the pro-game. My feelings towards Pro-Sports, especially football started changing when fantasy leagues became so popular that the game became more about the individual athlete than the team..

I've haven't followed pro sports actively for the last few years and each year I miss it less and less and just don't give a frick. About my only interest in the Pro game is seeing how players from my school is doing but only as a passing thought.

One of these years they will get woke but will be too late

Can’t disagree with any of that. My saving grace is that LSU completed an awesome season so we left on a high note. I haven’t tuned into a single sports game since nor plan to.

Alienating your fan base probably isn’t the best course of action to get your silly point across and may I just make everyone aware

Never watched the NBA. Watched Florida college ball but not every game.

Watch the NHL. Go Pens.

Stopped watching NFL last year. Got too political and I have better things to do on Sundays.

Sports has taken a back seat in my life. I used to be all in.

I have very little desire to watch a bunch of millionaires act like they're oppressed.

If the same thing comes to college ball, I'll give that up too.

I'll find something else to do and spend my money on something else on Saturday.

It's apparent the athletes don't care about their leagues. Why should we?

Pro football was starting to lose its zeal before all the BLM stuff. The time investment and over commercialization of the end product, to watch 7 minutes of action or whatever it is, just doesn't interest me.

Never really watched NBA and casually watch baseball when I'm bored.

But adding the politics and pandering to certain groups just nails the door shut.

I want to see those oppressed millionaires ratings tank all the way to the floor.

100% Agree. I hope this trend continues. Would love to see a future where assholes like Lebron James driving UPS trucks in the off season to supplement income.

Sports used to be a fun, uniting event. Now, it's a money grab and all about brand building with no loyalty to team/city, country or logic. These high paid athletes don't care about you so why should you care about them? Like Sonny in "A Bronx Tale" said..."nobody cares".

Left baseball in 1994 when they went on strike and didn't play the World series. I have never looked back.

Fact.

I started losing interest in NBA when the super team era started but I'd still watch the Finals and playoffs. Haven't watched it in a couple years now avoid anything to do with NBA. If NFL goes full woke I'm fine walking away from that too. I worked real long hours last few years and when I have a weekend off or a Sunday to myself I'd rather go hiking, go for a motorcycle ride, or hit golf balls.

Gave up on the MLB after a strike around '99 or '00 and never looked back. What a horrible way to spend 3.5 hours of your precious life.

NBA. Seriously?? I pity most people who find that nonsense interesting. The majority of those players HATE you and would tune-in and have a massive house-party if 'Lynching White People' ever makes it to pay-per-view.

NFL - the kneeling was a bridge too far. How dare they ruin such a beautiful moment of national unity, for a cause that is statistically untrue. In a way, I actually am thankful to the NFL... y marriage and my health improved, now that my autumn and winter Sundays now consist of fun (short) road-trips, healthy activities, and time spent witn her.

That is because they have effectively been dismantling our Culture, this is how far down they have taken us. There was a time when cancelling such events would have caused a National Uproar, no longer.

I have been checked out of pro sports for a number of years. There was a time I loved watching the NBA and NFL, but that time is long ago and like you I only tune into NFL in very short clips to see how players I followed in college are doing.
I recently began watching a few innings of MLB, and that's because of my son's passion for the game of baseball in general. His love for the game and learning all aspects of it, cancel my feelings about the actions of the players, managers, and owners.
I shield him from the off the field distractions they advocate, we don't watch any opening ceremonies, it's strictly about the game.

I am not a huge fan of college sports, but was a diehard NFL fan. The last few years, I have only really watched Saints games. This year, I don't give a shite about watching any sports.

I used to be a guy who would spend all Sunday watching any NFL game on TV. Would look forward to the Monday Night matchups. Loved NBA double headers. There has got to be millions like me who just don't give a shite anymore

I’ve done without for over 10 years. If the SEC ever goes full cuck I will do without college, although I hope that never happens.

I used to watch nba and mlb passionately. Stopped 8 years ago. I miss it. But if I watch it won't be what I remember it as. This had more to do with nba not playing D and mlb cutting steroids out.

I hear you. I've loved the outdoors and this year I invested is extremely affordable to annual passes for States Parks and National parks and have really increased the amount of time hiking the trails, camping, a little fishing to have something to do during this damned pandemic and I feel much better and are really enjoying to beauty of the outdoors.

My interest in the NFL started waning when the Kaep stuff started. Then Rodgers got hurt and for the next few weeks I realized that I was only really watching because of him. It was easy to tune out after that.

College ball sucks to lose but frick it, I got two kids I can take fishing on Saturdays.

While I'm not a huge basketball fan I was very excited to see how the Bucks would do in the postseason. It's the closest Milwaukee has been to a 'ship in my lifetime (not counting the Packers). The Brewers were poised for a good season, and Badger basketball had clinched the #1 seed in the B1G tourney. Badgers football got to the Rose Bowl. It was all looking pretty good. Then 'rona hit and then this protest shite and I just lost all interest. Couldn't care less about what happens now.

I have never had much interest in pro-sports outside of maybe stopping to watch when nothing else was on and my time wasn't better served being outside...

I do love college sports though, especially football, baseball, and softball... I might miss them some if things turn super stupid but I imagine I will get over it...
