What would you rather. Go to prison for 6 months and then be deported or just be deported?

They said "up to six months" but more likely 72 hours til ICE can come collect you

What makes you think that’s not the plan. The state will document a criminal conviction. The Feds will know and file a detainer so that they can take custody when the state penalty has been completed.

Is there anything preventing them from being turned over to ICE prior to completion of their term?
