There’s no good reason to not include a DACA fix in this bill. Bigotry within elements of the GOP used to ‘just’ mean that party leaders couldn’t advance immigration and criminal justice reform. Emboldened by Trump, it now means that they can’t keep the government running.

Evan McMullin represents the worst of the NeverTrump movement (which has many great conservatives within it)
McMullin is ironically becoming the very thing he dislikes about trump. Namely, that trump is a threat to conservatism. Yet time and time again McMullin has opposed trump even when trump is pushing forward conservative policy.
He is putting his personal dislike of trump ahead of conservatism.

The guy isn’t relevant. People paid attention to him in 2016 because Utah was supposed to be super important because Trump was thought to lose if he didn’t win it.
