Zero Hedge
They are declaring an emergency with Nordstream 1 going into maintenance. It is laughable that they are saying that renewables are the least expensive way to go and gas is the most expensive. So they need to remake the model for electricity.

The subsidies on renewable is the only thing that makes them affordable, you idiots.

But the article shows the price of electricity being $840/mega watt hour. That is $0.84 per kwh. holy crap!!
Plus I think there is a VAT tax on top of this for consumers.
For a home using 2000 kwh, that is $1680. Wheewww! How do you like that greenies.

And the green fools are pushing EV's that require evermore power generation at the same time they want to depend on green fairy dust and unicorn farts to provide electricity.

Meanwhile Germany is proudly announcing that their gas stockpile is 80% full and should be at 100% next month.

What they don’t mention is that they paid 10 times the price for that gas that they did last year. They paid it because they really didn’t have an alternative, despite all the crowing about renewable options. If those renewables were a viable alternative, why did they willingly pay 10 times the usual cost for natural gas?

So they filled up the stockpile with crazy expensive gas, now those costs are being passed along to electricity users and everyone is panicking.

Change will come when the citizens have had enough of this nonsense.

They also don’t mention that even at full storage they’ll need constant flow through the winter. Seems like russia has pretty much taken care of that this winter. Pain for Europe and they did it to themselves. America needs people to step up and push back to avoid the same mistakes.

The EU Energy Crisis hasn't even started yet

People in the EU are so smart and sophisticated so this shouldn't be anything for them

I don't give AF about the EU. They want to be green. Let them freeze their asses off this winter.

This, at full capacity Germany has 10 weeks of gas during winter. They have to have a steady stream of gas from Russia WHILE depleting their storage to make it through winter.

It’s so bad that it may actually turn into war .. real serious “Europe Spring” type war

People are going to freeze and starve, and small businesses will go extinct.

Not hyperbole
