ESPN's Max Kellerman calls for Notre Dame to drop "Fighting Irish" name & leprechaun

It's just one thing after another with these guys. Tear down one thing and look for the next thing to destroy.
Funny. Every person of Irish descent that I know loves Notre Dame or is indifferent about it.
He did get an old ESPN colleague, Brian Kenney, to chime in and say that it's offensive because it makes all Irish people look like "a bunch of foolish, drinking, fighting, singing, dancing, & lying gnomes". I never thought that's how Irish people were depicted, just a creature of lore.
More in the article, but you get the gist. I've been a Notre Dame fan all my life. They are a private institution and do not have to give in to anyone (with the exception of the NCAA). If they cave in without a fight, I'm done with them.
I assume if the SJW's get another pelt on the wall, they'll go after Michigan State or USC, because what about the Spartans and Trojans who can't voice their outrage?

Max Kellerman is your typical ESPN SJW. They must really have nothing better to talk about. It was only a matter of time before someone brought this issue up. I wouldn't be surprised if some jackass outsider tries to mess with the Ragin' Cajuns nickname. I'll be the first one to picket in the counter-protest and tell them how ridiculous they are.

This came from a caller on first and last on the gollick son's show.
He threw a shite fit about the Indian calling it Inherently racist. Saying it looks like 1950 propaganda art. So a guy called in to piss him off and said the Notre dame mascot offended him as a Irishman. Gollick went to ND. He tried to save face and said good let's change it, but he did say it was less racist.
So I went on Twitter to challenge him on this. He was saying it has buck teeth and red skin which makes it racist. I sent him some 1950s propaganda cartoons, ane I was like this is propaganda images. This is just a cartoon. It depicts a smile. Not buck teeth you dolt. Then I showed him a picture of an Indian. I told him that they infact do have a red hue skin tone. Then I said "you know what is inherently racist? Butt sex. Because you screw the BROWN eye, or as our president calls it the "shithole" "
