A few thoughts on this.

Why did we spend $43 billion for broadband expansion only to fail to hook up a single person when Starlink can be so easily deployed?

How many CA liberals will either refuse a free Starlink because it's from Elon or will fail to be grateful to Elon for helping them out? This helps not only individuals but also emergency response crews still working.

Its crazy how Elon has done so many great things that Starlink is low on the totem pole. If anyone else achieved what he has with Starlink it would be their life's accomplishment

It's gonna suck bigly once Elon passes away. A true innovator of our time.

How is the Starlink connection anyway? Is it like regular broadband up/down speeds or is it slow?

My brother has it because he lives in BFE and says it is great but to be fair he is comparing that to the one ISP in his area that only offers like 10mbs speeds over copper lines

It's basically broadband. Check out their website if you're curious, it's incredible tech

I looked on Google and this is what it returned. Definitely not bad at all only problem is the price for unlimited data.

Key points about Starlink speeds:

Average download speed: Between 25 and 220 Mbps

Majority of users experience speeds above: 100 Mbps

Upload speeds: Typically between 5 and 20 Mbps

Latency: 25 to 60 milliseconds on land

I'll state the obvious, just to get it out of the way: the Biden admin declared war on Elon for some stupid reason.

I have a roaming account to use while camping. It's as fast as the Spectrum cable internet I have at home. I can stream and play games with my son while in the wilderness.
Last Time I was out I was getting 350mb+ down and 20mb+ up.

Because Biden and Harris were running another grift to send money to their buddies. That's why.

Gotta love more taxpayers money to import cheap workers, amirite??

For the record, I don't mind this happening, as long as, the money can only be used for Americans to be hired/benifits and no one else.

People disagreed with his Americans Second mindset, and he called them "subtards" and said they need to be taken out of the party by the root forever, and it's MAGA to blame? smfh

Are you reading comp. tarded? I was clear where my issue was, and it wasn't with using taxpayer money going the starlink route over the Biden/harris route.
