Has nothing to do with IQ. Memory, maybe.
bullshite. The rate at which you learn, the amount you can learn, and your ability to use what you have learned are determined by your IQ and therefore your DNA.
There is nothing a 70 IQ person could ever learn and use to make them competitive with a 130 or higher IQ. Ever.

Again, you're only improving that critical thinking within the hard limit of the IQ of the individual.
That is exactly my point. What are you even talking about?

You have to start from square 0. This also skews their scores on IQ tests, but that skewing shows their potential immediate adaptability into a modern society at the same time.
Oh, you think every human is genetically itentical like the IQ denier. That's simply not true.

Every economy has low level jobs, no matter how advanced it is. Ditches don't dig themselves.
Or are you saying only our white collar jobs should be open to a billion or so people worldwide?
As a white collar worker, bring it on. 99% won't be able to compete.
This melt has been from white collar types who want the same protectionism MAGA promised blue collar workers.
The reason why the blue collar types are being replaced are government programs like welfare and the minimum wage. We remove those things and there are a lot fewer immigrants coming to do those jobs.

If we're talking about memory, then that's not true.
If we're talking comprehension, then that's true.

Nowhere did I say or imply that.
You just failed an IQ test, buddy.

My vocabulary was never that high but that didn't stop my IQ from being off the charts. Spending most of my formative years with people having over 120-130 IQs never put me in a position where their higher vocabularies put me down the list of smartest in the group (it was usually the opposite).
It's also correlated with retention and ability to understand. The fact that you were able to glean so much from their vocabulary would more likely be attributable to you having at least a 120 or higher. If you're saying yours is much lower, then you are one of the unicorns. Congratulations on excelling, if so.

I actually think Lebron's IQ is probably higher than the 85 average for US black men and closer to the 100 of US white men, but I don't really think he uses that average intelligence effectively.

There are 1.8 billion Indians. They are still under a caste system and worship cattle.
Let's not worship that culture. Most of them are dumb as rocks.

Maybe I didn't do it well.

True. They are still under a caste system. It's the solution that productive Indians have come up with to control the 200 million or so whose IQs are so low that they can never even hope to learn to read.
Nobody anywhere is worshiping that shitfest. Especially the Indians trying to escape that hellhole. They hate the deadbeats as much as you do.
The problem is that you stereotype them as stupid and then when they come here and easily succeed, they stereotype you (average American) as stupid.
There's a much better starting point for this convrsation.

You can dilligently work and improve critical thinking, but you can't create the extra neural pathways that create genius.
Every bit of that is genetic.
That's not accurate. It's not additional pathways. It's an application of some, where others are deficient. Like a bowl of water. If you tip a bowl of water sideways, you have more water on one side of the bowl and less water on the other.
Let's take geniuses. Most commonly, where geniuses gain in smarts, they lack in common sense and/or social skills. Let's take high performing autististics. Where they lack in emotional interpretation/interaction, many excell with mathematics, numbers, and/or pattern recognition.
Or on artful creativity.
This thinking of extra pathways is flawed. It's the brain assigning extra horsepower to one area, while taking that power away from another area.

Lol Smart people don't tell you how smart they are, or they under cut it.

CS grads at the top of their class at Berkeley are not getting jobs per their Prof. Tech has laid off thousands over the past several years yet we need more H1bs...

I agree 100% and have said so numerous times here.
An empty stomach is a great motivator. Unfortunately, no stomachs go empty in the US thanks to Uncle Sam and his bottomless pockets.

This is largely a myth perpetrated by normies to make them feel better about their IQ.
There are many more people in the normal IQ range who lack common sense and social skills. For whatever reason, those who perpetrate this myth just ignore them as to not associate themselves in their delusional self esteem boosting.
The most annoying people are the people in the normal IQ range who listen to this drivel and think they are smart due to their lack of common sense/social skills. Just FWIW.

That sounds like their salary demands are skewed.
It's also a bad time for tech with big layoffs. The depressing of wages due to this just isn't acceptable to people who'd rather go to the nanny state to help them.

I just apply the same standards to the white collar class, of which I am a part.
The MAGA-tards who are really melting over this are revealing their jealousy of MAGA's promotion of protecting their perceived lessers, and now they want the same.
It's why a coalition of these vastly desperate classes is tough to maintain.

You put the KKK to shame... I'm shocked that you called someone else racist...
Those low caste people come here and do quite well.
I know some, typically they embrace Christianity and move to America and do fine.

Ive heard the same from many business owners, small and big .
its why business tend to locate their HQs in the same metro area where they can recruit the most people reside near good schools and economies.
the motivated smart kids in those poor areas leave as soon as possible because they realize there's no opportunities and less employees around compared to the cities. they get bigger buck for their buck somewhere else. its hard to educate good ones and even harder to keep them around.
I think the challenges for rural whites vs urban minorities is different though
This is really true.
I'm gonna put this in a different perspective.
I'm an amateur (mediocre at best) game modder. At the computer manufacturing company I worked for we had three techs who were brilliant game modders. All three would have loved to have been game devs.
Is there a field for that here? Absolutely not. All the big game companies are where there are a larger source of qualified programmers.

Salaries are impacted by oversupply. Yet you promote bringing in even more competition. And I will wager very few H1B's are superior to a Berkeley CS grad in their field.

And yet you are promoting bringing in even more supply, which will further depress wages.
Will you be satisfied if a CS grad can look forward to $20/hour or should it be lower still?
Your claim of nanny state protection is laughable when you are advocating unlimited downward pressure on wages.
